Next in our journey with watercolour on black paper, students will build on the skills they developed in Intro to Watercolour on Black Paper I to create beautiful, nature-inspired nightscapes. Students will focus on wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet techniques, fluid washes, glazing and saturation. Students will have access to a variety of examples as inspiration. All supplies included!

Students will leave with two completed, ready-to-frame nighttime landscapes.

About the instructor:

Carey is an acrylic, ink, and watercolour artist whose work is deeply inspired by her love of animals and the beauty of nature. Her years living in Japan, together with her bilingual French background, have profoundly influenced her creative practice and are woven into every piece she creates.

A lifelong artist and accomplished educator with more than two decades of experience, Carey began sharing her art through markets and galleries in 2022. Carey is a member of MAWA, and La Maison des Artists Visuels Francophone.
