4 Sessions – Basics of Crafting With Foam for Cosplay and Halloween with Ash Davis - September 22, 2026

Join Ashquee Cosplay for a 4-Part class about how to work with EVA foam for cosplay and costuming from scratch, just in time for Halloween! Learn how to create props or costumes from foam from scratch, no experience required!

Note: We will be making a project as a class. A skull mask that you can customize and create a character through crafting and design! If participants want to try to make a specific costume or prop, please bring adequate references and foam material so the instructor can assist, and keep in mind we have limited time.

Please prepare and bring your own supplies to the class:

• Self-healing Cutting mat

• Exacto/Boxcutter knife (prefer 18mm)

• Dremel

• Heat Gun (we will have some to share if you don't own)

• 5mm foam (Smooth on both sides preferred; can be bought at Artists Emporium)

• Pattern Pieces printed and cut out (file will be provided closer to the date if not bringing your own)

• Glue gun with glue (we will have some to share if you don't own)

• Duck Tape or painters tape

• A roll of Saran Wrap

• Sharpie
